Another year is upon us, it’s time to reflect on the different elements we used last year, and we have to ask ourselves, “What worked? What didn’t… What’s next!” You hear the terms viral, organic, engaging and others when it comes to your websites, your products, your social media. The thing is that everyone else hears those words as well. So, in this crazy hustle and bustle what should you consider doing in 2024 that is different than the years before?

Hopefully one of those things is being true to yourself. If you like crazy cat videos, then share crazy cat videos. If you prefer serious quotes and graphics that make you think, then share them. The biggest thing that can help you with any endeavor you face is passion. If you do not have passion for what you are doing, most likely others won’t either. They will be able to feel the lack-luster enthusiasm you put into that picture or the sluggishness of the video you just made. If you are not enjoying what you do, then you probably won’t find many others that do either.

Ever noticed that you find yourself checking into buying something just because you heard how much someone else liked it? Or you won’t buy something on Amazon without first checking out the reviews? Why? Because you want to believe in the products you buy, the same as people want to believe in yours as well. Thankfully many of us have the options to share those ‘cat pictures, yummy coffee drinks, or other just because’ images that we enjoyed looking at. If you have that same freedom with your networks do the same as well. If your product happens to have the same emotional connection, use it. Ultimately, have fun with the career you have chosen to follow.
